About this scholarship
The Cox Research Scholarship is a need-based award for incoming Indiana resident freshmen at Indiana University Bloomington who show exemplary achievement and scholarly curiosity. The program pairs each scholar with a faculty mentor to develop research or creative inquiry skills. The scholarship amount is equivalent to full tuition and fees for eligible recipients. Applicants must demonstrate financial need through the FAFSA and complete the IU Scholarships Application. Cox Research Scholars are invited to join the Hutton Honors College. The Cox Scholars Program rewards hard-working Indiana students who combine academic strength with perseverance and resourcefulness.
