Esports Scholarships

Out-of-state varsity esports recruits at Ball State University may receive a scholarship renewable for up to four years. Eligible applicants must not reside in Indiana, be admitted full time to an undergraduate program, have competitive experience in varsity-level esports titles, complete at least three tryout practices with a current team, and have no recent competitive bans or fines. The award is $12,500. Students in the program also study esports history, video production, streaming, and live event broadcasting.

Award amounts vary by division and performance. The program supports competition in games such as Overwatch, CS:GO, Hearthstone, Fortnite, and Super Smash Bros.
