University of Akron Varsity Esports Scholarship

Prospective or incoming first-year University of Akron students of any major who qualify for varsity esports teams may earn scholarship support as team members. Teams include Rocket League, Smash Bros, Overwatch 2, Valorant, and others.

Awards range from $1,000 to $2,500. Varsity players must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.
