International Chemistry Competition

Submit an application form, official transcript, at least one recommendation letter, and an original 600 to 800 word essay or 8 to 10 slide PowerPoint on a sponsor-specified chemistry topic.
Carleton B. Edwards Chemistry Scholarships
$1,000Scholarship application due February 1 annuallyThe Carleton B. Edwards Chemistry Scholarships are four-year awards for outstanding incoming Earlham students who plan to major in chemistry or biochemistry. Recipients are chosen by chemistry faculty based on high school academic achievement, interest in chemistry, a completed online application, and a personal essay describing why they plan to major in the field. Applicants must apply to Earlham by Early Action or Early Decision and enroll in the fall entering class. The award is at minimum one thousand dollars per year, renewable for up to four years while maintaining a 2.0 GPA and reasonable progress toward a chemistry or biochemistry degree.
