The Special Delivery of Dreams Scholarship provides six $2,500 awards to students pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree, graduate degree, or technical-school certificate who collect stamps and strive to give back to their communities. Applicants upload a school or professional headshot and respond to three prompts about overcoming a challenge, giving back, and the influence of stamp collecting.

Women who are U.S. or Canadian citizens or permanent residents admitted to full-time graduate study in statistics by July 1 may apply for the American Statistical Association Gertrude M. Cox Scholarship. Two recipients are selected each year, one early-stage and one advanced graduate student, each receiving $1,000 and a certificate. Applications are due March 1 and require a personal essay of at least one double-spaced page covering program goals, career plans, and leadership or service experience. The scholarship was established in 1989 to encourage more women to enter statistically oriented professions.
Current or former wards of the court in Kent County, Michigan pursuing undergraduate college or vocational education may apply for the Donald J. DeYoung Scholarship through the Grand Rapids Community Foundation general application. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, hold at least a 2.5 GPA, and provide a letter of recommendation from a caseworker. Award amounts vary. Submit the GRCF general scholarship application by March 1.
