Meridian's annual community scholarship honoring former CEO Sean Jackson, awarded to one Ontario high school graduate entering first year at a recognized publicly funded Canadian college or university. Candidates must be Ontario residents with at least an 80% academic average and a record of outstanding community leadership demonstrated through volunteerism, initiative, and innovation. The application includes three short essays, two reference letters (school and community), proof of post-secondary acceptance, and official transcripts. Applications open March 1 and close April 30; top finalists may be interviewed.

Monthly-style Student Life Network contest awarding $1,000 to help fund a student business idea, skill, or passion project. Join SLN for free and submit a short project description rather than a formal essay. One student can win each cycle while the series runs through November 2026. Open to Canadian students participating through the Student Life Network platform under the published Spark Series rules.
Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are Ontario residents in second or third year in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering, the Faculty of Arts and Science, UTM, or UTSC may apply. Selection is based on financial need and academic merit, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Candidates must also show involvement in micro/nanofabrication through research, coursework, or work experience, or propose a summer research or capstone project in that area. University of Guelph Ontario Agricultural College students in any OAC program with a minimum 70% cumulative average who plan travel related to course study. One grant of up to $750. Apply with a letter of no more than two pages outlining the intended travel opportunity.
Undergraduate students at the University of Victoria who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to the pursuit of excellence in fine arts may apply. Recipients must demonstrate financial need and meet a minimum 3.5 sessional grade point average for continuing or transferring students, or a 70% admission average for students commencing post-secondary studies for the first time. The award amount varies. Athletics coaches distribute application forms to prospective students, who complete and return them to Student Awards and Financial Aid.
