Meridian's annual community scholarship honoring former CEO Sean Jackson, awarded to one Ontario high school graduate entering first year at a recognized publicly funded Canadian college or university. Candidates must be Ontario residents with at least an 80% academic average and a record of outstanding community leadership demonstrated through volunteerism, initiative, and innovation. The application includes three short essays, two reference letters (school and community), proof of post-secondary acceptance, and official transcripts. Applications open March 1 and close April 30; top finalists may be interviewed.

Doctoral students in natural sciences or engineering may apply through Concordia for the NSERC Postgraduate Scholarship / Canada Graduate Research Scholarship Doctoral. Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons may apply. U.S. and international students may apply if enrolled in the doctoral program. Applicants must have completed no more than 36 months of full-time doctoral study by December 31 of the application year. The award is valued at $40,000 per year for up to three years. NSERC PGS D applications are automatically considered for CGRS D.
