About this scholarship
High school seniors planning a general aviation career, or college students enrolled in an accredited flight program through their school, may apply for this NATF award. Applicants need a private pilot's license, a 3.0 or higher GPA, and aspirations toward professional pilot work in general or commercial aviation.
One scholarship of $1,500 is awarded annually.

The award honors Richard L. Taylor, Associate Professor Emeritus of the Ohio State University Aviation Department, whose leadership expanded flight education and training opportunities for aviation students.
