President's International Experience Award

Current University of Waterloo undergraduates who received the President's Scholarship of Distinction in Year One and completed Year One full time with a minimum 80% cumulative average may claim this award. Eligible students may claim up to two upper-year awards of $1,500 each before graduating.

This $1,500 award supports a University-approved international study or work experience, claimed from 2A to 4B (or later terms in some programs) before the undergraduate program ends. Remote international work terms and Canada-based work done remotely abroad are not eligible.

Complete the President's International Experience Award online form before departure or by October 1 (fall), February 1 (winter), or June 1 (spring).
