Dr. Julian Jaynes Graduate Psychology Award

University of Saskatchewan students with verified Indigenous ancestry who have been Saskatchewan residents for at least 12 months, register in at least 9 credit units per semester, demonstrate financial need, and hold an average of 65% or greater. Preference may be given to students in Arts and Science, Edwards School of Business, and Engineering. Fifteen awards of $5,000, paid in two $2,500 installments (second term requires continued eligibility). Apply through the Continuing Bursaries application in PAWS.

For a student with satisfactory academic progress who has completed at least 30 credit hours and is majoring in Psychology in any degree program. Preference may be given to a single parent. One bursary of $3,695 is offered. Applicants must complete the Special Awards for High Need Students application form.

University of Waterloo third- or fourth-year Architectural Engineering or Civil Engineering undergraduates, or Civil Engineering graduate students, who show commitment to construction or project management through coursework, projects, or work-term experience may apply. Candidates need a minimum overall average of 75%, and recipients may receive the award only once. One award of up to $3,000 is given annually. Interested students should apply by October 1. The fund was established by a donation from Jack Wiseman.
