No-essay sweepstakes from Ascent Funding for U.S. and D.C. residents age 14 or older enrolled at least half-time in high school, college, or career training, or parents of qualifying students. Enter via the sponsor's online form during the published window. No Ascent loan or purchase is required to enter or win. One winner is selected at random and paid by check or direct deposit after eligibility verification.

Students at least 16 years old without a pilot's license who demonstrate interest in aviation education may apply for Avfuel Pilot-in-Training Aviation Scholarships through the AVTRIP program. Three scholarships are awarded annually: $1,500, $1,000, and $500. Funds may be used for flight training, tuition, or new licenses or ratings. Avfuel may withhold awards if insufficient applications are received. Complete the application by the October 31 deadline. Avfuel Corporation established these funds to further aviation education.

Undergraduate or graduate students of documented New Paltz Huguenot descent may apply for one of four Gertrude E. Hasbrouck Memorial Scholarships through Historic Huguenot Street and the Hasbrouck Family Association. Each award is $5,000. Scholarships are granted annually by the Hasbrouck Family Association based on the applicant pool. Completed application packets must be received by August 31 and include an application form, two letters of recommendation, a statement of academic and career goals, an official transcript, and a Huguenot ancestry form.
