ADEA/Haleon Preventive Dentistry Scholarships

Twelve predoctoral dental students at accredited U.S. or Canadian programs receive $2,500 each year. Applicants must have completed at least one year, show strong interest and achievement in preventive dentistry, hold a superior academic record, and be ADEA individual members.

Each award is $2,500. The 2026 recipients were announced at the March 2026 ADEA Annual Session.

Students apply online through MyADEA by September 15 (portal opens mid to late July). Each school may submit up to three dean-nominated candidates. Required materials include a dean letter, student summary of preventive dentistry activities, CV, and transcripts.
