For Fall 2026 and later, UNCW requires applicants with a weighted GPA from 2.50 through 2.79 to submit at least a 17 ACT or 930 SAT. Applicants with a 2.8 or higher may apply without scores. UNCW superscores both exams. It combines SAT results and takes the highest ACT subscores from any submitted test date; the ACT writing section is not required.
