Scholarships at Santa Clara University

The Santa Clara University Third-Child Grant provides up to fifty percent of annual tuition to the dependent undergraduate child farthest along in studies when three or more dependent children from the same family are simultaneously enrolled full time in Santa Clara undergraduate programs. Parents must submit a written request along with a copy of their most recent tax return listing all three SCU undergraduate students as dependents. FAFSA is required annually. The grant is not indexed to tuition increases, requires full-time enrollment, and coordinates with other financial aid. It applies to tuition charges and may adjust if enrollment or family circumstances change.

The LEAD Scholarship Fund supports first-generation college students in the LEAD Scholars Program at Santa Clara University by covering educational costs including tuition, fees, and other expenses. The Justin Ebner Endowed Accounting Scholarship provides scholarship assistance to junior accounting majors at Santa Clara University who show a love of accounting and work to help and inspire others, honoring Justin Ebner, an accounting major who passed away during his junior year. Justin excelled in accounting courses and tutored classmates generously. The endowed fund supports students in perpetuity through annual distributions. Eligible declared accounting majors apply through the Accounting Department scholarship application, which typically opens in March and closes in early April, with awards presented at the annual Accounting Awards Dinner.

The Wil A. Vicik Memorial Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a junior declared in Civil, Environmental and Sustainable Engineering at Santa Clara University who shows the most promise for a successful career as a civil engineer as determined by faculty, with preference based on merit. The memorial endowment provides annual scholarship support administered through the CESE department. Award amounts vary by year.
