Scholarships at Florida A&M University

The Dr. Toni Jo Mason Academic Scholarship supports full-time undergraduate students with physical disabilities enrolled at Florida A&M University who demonstrate financial need. Established in 2014, the award honors Dr. Toni Jo Mason's advocacy for equal access in education. Applicants submit an application, transcript, statement of unmet financial need, an essay on promoting positive Black African images, and complete an audition or technical portfolio review with the scholarship committee.

The Camille Olivia Hanks Cosby Theatre Program Scholarship supports declared theatre majors at Florida A&M University who demonstrate artistry and potential in the discipline. Eligible students include incoming freshmen, transfer students, and currently enrolled undergraduates with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA enrolled full time in 12 or more credit hours. Applicants complete the Cosby Theatre Scholarship application, submit transcripts, and audition or interview with the Theatre Scholarship Committee. Recipients must accept assigned performance or crew roles, volunteer for Essential Theatre activities, and maintain a 3.0 GPA in major courses and 2.5 cumulative GPA.
