About this scholarship
The Florida Emerging Journalists Fund at FAMU SJGC strengthens the pipeline of diverse journalists in Florida newsrooms. The Florida Society of News Editors funds two $2,000 scholarships each year for a minimum of four years to support journalism students at Florida A&M University. The fund is administered through the School of Journalism and Graphic Communication and aims to help emerging reporters gain financial support while completing their degrees.
