Scholarships at University of Toronto St. George

University of Toronto School of the Environment full- or part-time undergraduates enrolled in a School program may apply. Preference goes to students focusing on environment and development, though other environmental students remain eligible. One or more awards of $2,000. For full-time third- or fourth-year undergraduate students enrolled in a School of the Environment program at the University of Toronto. Preference goes to students studying topics relating to environment and international development. One award of $1,700 is granted on the basis of academic merit. Apply to the School Undergraduate Awards Committee with a cover letter, resume, and unofficial transcript.

University of Toronto third-year History Major or Specialist students with outstanding performance who have taken at least three full-course equivalents in Canadian History (two at the 300/400 level) over their academic career may receive this in-course scholarship. Faculty-nominated; no separate application. Established in 1995-96 to mark the Women's Canadian Historical Society of Toronto's centenary.

International students (non-Canadian, requiring a study permit) in their final year of secondary school in 2026/2027, or who graduated no earlier than June 2026, may be nominated by their high school for undergraduate study at the University of Toronto beginning September 2027. Students already attending post-secondary studies are not eligible. The scholarship covers tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years for first-entry undergraduate programs. Approximately 37 scholars are named each year. High schools nominate one student; nominees must also apply to U of T and complete the Pearson scholarship application. The program recognizes exceptional academic achievement, creativity, and leadership, with emphasis on impact on school and community life.

University of Toronto Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies undergraduates in financial need who show promise in directing for theatre, with academic achievement considered. Preference in practice has focused on students in DRM302H1 Directing II or DRM402H1 Advanced Directing. Amount varies. Awarded on the director's recommendation. The recipient must remain full-time for the academic year.

Innis College Arts and Science undergraduate students at the University of Toronto with financial need may receive support through the Day Trade The World Bursary UTAPS program, administered through the University Registrar's Office Need Navigator after OSAP or provincial aid. Award amounts are based on financial need. Apply through UTAPS when eligible.
