Scholarships at University of British Columbia Vancouver

For continuing international undergraduate students in a four-year degree at UBC Vancouver who study on a Canadian study permit and pay international tuition. Awards of up to $10,000 each recognize leadership in community service, international engagement, intercultural understanding, promotion of diversity, intellectual, artistic, or athletic pursuits, or other campus activities while maintaining strong academics. You must have been registered at the Vancouver campus for the previous Winter Session and be registered for the current session. Students on Go Global or Co-op are eligible. For Indigenous students pursuing a health sciences degree on UBC's Vancouver campus. Most awards range from $750 to $2,500, with one award of $10,000. Contact the Centre for Excellence in Indigenous Health for application materials and current details.

For undergraduate, graduate, or post-baccalaureate students enrolled at UBC Vancouver who cannot meet basic technology requirements due to unforeseen financial distress. Covered needs can include headphones, web cameras, specialized accessibility technology, or Internet access. You must show that other campus technology resources are insufficient and that the technology is needed for coursework. Funding is not for workspace furniture, upgrades to older technology, or employment equipment. This is a one-time needs-based bursary.
