Scholarships at Thompson Rivers University

Legal dependents and grandchildren of three-year Thompson Rivers University Association of Professional Administrators members enrolled full-time in at least a six-month program may apply for the TRU APA Fund. Eight awards of $500 are given annually. Preference goes, in order, to applicants whose parents or guardians have served on APA executive or committees, first-time recipients, those carrying a larger course load, and those demonstrating financial need. Email awards@tru.ca indicating which APA member is your parent or grandparent. Apply via myTRU during the undergraduate in-course bursary window through September 30. Current APA members employed less than three years in an eligible TRU exempt position still qualify.

Thompson Rivers University students who have demonstrated community involvement or service may receive a TRU Alumni Association Scholarship. Scholarships are awarded annually; amounts vary. Preference goes to TRU alumni who completed a full-time certificate, diploma, or degree program of at least four months at TRU, or who completed 30 or more university transferable credits at TRU. Apply via myTRU when the in-course application opens.

Thompson Rivers University students who demonstrate financial need may receive the TRU Faculty Association Bursary each year. The award amount varies. Apply through myTRU during the undergraduate in-course bursary application period.
