Scholarships at Langara College

Students who have shown sustained interest and enthusiasm for Anthropology and plan to pursue further university study in the field may apply for the Fraser Taylor Memorial Scholarship. The award amount varies. Applicants need at least three Anthropology courses in at least two fields, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and a one-page statement on the importance and relevance of Anthropology for them and for the world.

Open to a student graduating from the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program who best demonstrates excellence in clinical nursing performance and academic ability, with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better. Langara College Nutrition and Food Service Management students who are members of the Pacific Society of Nutrition Management, have completed the first three semesters, and are registered and attending the fourth semester. Open to Langara College student-athletes who are current members of an intercollegiate athletic team, are registered in a minimum of 9 credits, and demonstrate exceptional athletic skill. Returning students must hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.33. One scholarship is available; the amount varies. Athletic Department scholarships are identified by the head coach and Athletic Director in the spring cycle.

Langara College Film Arts students registered in the second (summer) term who earned at least a B average in the first (spring) term and show exceptional dedication to improving their acting skills may receive the Trish Robinson Film Studies Bursary.
