Scholarships at Concordia University of Edmonton

Concordia University of Edmonton students in their final year of study who intend to graduate that year may apply. Recipients need a minimum 3.5 GPA, registration in 27 credits, and a significant contribution to CUE or the community. One $1,000 scholarship is available.

Open to a Concordia University of Edmonton undergraduate who is at least 25 years old as of September 1, has a minimum 3.0 GPA, and demonstrates financial need. The award is $1,000. Apply via Online Services for Students > Requests > Award Applications > Bursary Program.

Concordia University of Edmonton Lutheran Education students with financial need may apply for this bursary. One award of $500. Submit a Church Membership Form with the application by the published October deadline. Donated by Walter and Tillie Rosnau.

Concordia University of Edmonton second- or third-year students intending to complete a CUE degree with a declared English major, concentration, or minor may apply. Applicants must have completed at least 15 English credits at CUE. The award goes to the applicant with the highest GPA on the most recently completed 15 English credits. One annual award of $250. Pre-seminary students at Concordia University of Edmonton who have declared intent to enter the ordained ministry of Lutheran Church-Canada may receive this scholarship. Recipients must be communicant members of a Lutheran Church-Canada congregation and demonstrate financial need. Amount varies. Submit a Church Membership Form and have declared a pre-seminary church vocation. Application deadline is October 15. Donor: the late Walter and Esther Miller.

Concordia University of Edmonton first-year students competing on average across three of Mathematics 113/114, Chemistry (6 credits), Computing Science (6 credits), or Physics (6 credits) can receive this award.
