$500Rolling deadlineFull-time students in any year of Ontario Tech's Faculty of Education who demonstrate financial need and are in good academic standing. Four awards of $500. Apply through Ontario Tech Student Awards and Financial Aid.

$1,000Annual: March 17Nursing students enrolled at a CNSA chapter school in good standing may apply for this award recognizing education or research work outside required class assignments, such as research projects on nursing topics, curriculum advocacy, or specialty certifications. This CNSA member award is valued at $1,000 and is granted through the Canadian Nurses Foundation's annual scholarship program. One Canadian Nurses Foundation application covers every award you qualify for. The application opens January 1 and closes in mid-March each year (the 2026 cycle closed March 17, 2026); recipients are notified in July, and each applicant can receive at most one award per year. Applicants submit a resume or CV, confirmation of registration from their school, transcripts (unofficial accepted), and one or two references from academic supervisors, who complete a short competency assessment through the application portal. Canadian citizenship or permanent residence and enrollment in a Canadian nursing program are required.

Awards are made on the recommendation of the Education Abroad Program Advisory Committee in consultation with the Director of Enrolment Services; there is no separate application. Endowed by alumni, friends, and the University of British Columbia.

$1,000Annual: November 3Full-time mature Bachelor of Education students in Teacher Education or Formation à l'enseignement at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Education who returned to studies after an interruption and demonstrate financial need. One scholarship of $1,000. Apply through Online Scholarships and Bursaries in uoZone by November 3 with the Financial Questionnaire, a 500-word cover letter on career goals, and proof of mature-student status.
