Anna and John Kolesar Memorial Scholarship

Alberta high school graduates entering full-time study in a Faculty of Education at an Alberta public post-secondary institution may receive this $1,500 scholarship if neither parent holds a university degree. Apply to Alberta Student Aid between August 1 and October 31; selection uses final Grade 12 marks in English and two qualifying subjects. The scholarship honors Anna and John Kolesar, lifelong advocates of higher education in the Millet area, established by their son Dr. Henry Kolesar upon his retirement.
