About this scholarship
George Washington University awards two full-tuition You Are Welcome Here Scholarships each year to first-year fall international applicants dedicated to bridging intercultural divides on campus. Applicants submit an essay or video presenting ideas for advancing intercultural learning and understanding, plus a CSS Profile with their admission application. Recipients are notified in their admission letter and may receive only one GW merit award. The scholarship renews for up to ten consecutive semesters with continuous full-time enrollment and satisfactory academic progress and applies to undergraduate tuition expenses.
