About this scholarship
Competitive fellowship for University of Montana master's and law students committed to careers as public or nonprofit land conservationists. Up to three scholars are selected annually from Environmental Studies, the Franke College of Forestry and Conservation, and the Blewett School of Law based on leadership potential, conservation dedication, and academic strength. Support covers up to one quarter of cost of attendance for three semesters plus a $7,500 summer internship stipend, with additional post-graduation payments for qualifying conservation employment. Environmental Studies and forestry master's students apply in their first semester; law students apply in their third semester. Applications are due each January.
