About this scholarship
The UND Women in Aviation International Kay Lawrence Scholarship honors Kathryn Kay Lawrence, a 1941 UND graduate and Women Airforce Service Pilot who was among thirty-eight WASPs killed in service. Each year the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences awards this scholarship to a member in good standing of the UND Women in Aviation student organization. The award supports aviation students at UND who participate in the campus chapter dedicated to advancing women in aviation careers.
