About this scholarship
Automatic merit scholarship for in-state entering first-time freshmen at Winthrop University who are admitted with a completed application by February 1, 2026. Blue Line recipients typically have a weighted South Carolina GPA around 4.35 or GPA around 4.07 with SAT 1050 or ACT 20. Each admitted student receives only one of the freshman merit scholarships. The Blue Line award provides three thousand five hundred dollars per year and is renewable for up to three additional years with full-time enrollment and satisfactory academic progress.
