Scholarship honoring longtime CU Denver physics professor William Simmons for serious undergraduates in Physics, Mathematics, or the College of Engineering and Applied Science who qualify for Colorado in-state tuition. Recipients receive $2,000 applied toward resident tuition and textbooks, renewable if eligibility continues. Applicants need at least six credit hours per semester, a 3.2 overall GPA, and an enthusiastic approach to learning. Submit two academic recommendations, transcripts, a personal goals letter, and a résumé to the Physics department chair.
