About this scholarship
One full-cost scholarship covering tuition, room, board, books, and fees for a single outstanding incoming Belmont first-year student each year. Candidates must complete admission by November 1 and initially qualify at the Trustee Scholarship academic level before advancing to finalist interviews. Selection weighs academic and leadership accomplishments alongside the admission essay and activity record. Traditionally about five finalists interview for the award. The scholarship generally replaces any previously awarded general academic merit scholarship and renews up to four undergraduate years with full-time enrollment.
