About this scholarship
The Wheaton Edge stipend supports Wheaton College Massachusetts undergraduates who are not merit scholars and have not received major summer fellowships such as the Davis International Fellowship or Porter Cleveland Fellowship. Students use the one-time stipend for unpaid summer internships, research, service, or other experiential learning between sophomore and junior year or junior and senior year. Stipend amounts range from $2,000 to $3,000 based on hours completed: 160–199 hours earns $2,000, 200–239 hours earns $2,500, and 240 or more hours earns $3,000. Applications open each February and close at the end of May with no late submissions accepted.
