About this scholarship
The WUE Award discounts non-resident tuition to 150 percent of Wyoming resident tuition for new first-time students from participating Western states and U.S. Pacific territories who meet minimum GPA and test-score requirements. Estimated savings exceed fourteen thousand dollars per year based on UW's block tuition model. Students must be degree-seeking on the Laramie or Casper campus and confirm enrollment by May 1 for fall entry. The award renews up to eight semesters with a 3.0 UW cumulative GPA and continuous full-time enrollment. Transfer students are not eligible and are considered for the Pokes Transfer Commitment instead.
