About this scholarship
Merit scholarship for incoming first-year undergraduates at Wayne State University starting fall 2026. Wayne State automatically evaluates admitted applicants based on credentials submitted with the undergraduate admission application; no separate scholarship application is required. The Wayne State Scholar Award provides up to $1,000 per year for four consecutive years to students enrolled full time during fall and winter semesters. Complete admission materials by February 1, 2026 for maximum consideration. Recipients must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements each year to retain the award.
