About this scholarship
Tuition pledge program for Michigan-resident first-year undergraduates admitted to Wayne State University for fall 2026 with household income of $80,000 or less and assets of $50,000 or less as confirmed on the FAFSA, or who qualify for the Federal Pell Grant. Wayne State automatically considers eligible admitted students when the 2026-27 FAFSA is received by August 1, 2026. The guarantee covers full in-state tuition and standard fees through a combination of federal, state, and WSU aid for up to four years of full-time study. Recipients must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress and file the FAFSA annually.
