About this scholarship
Stanford VPUE Small Grants fund project expenses for part-time, year-round undergraduate research, arts, and senior synthesis projects under faculty mentorship. Awards up to $1,500 cover items such as fieldwork, human subjects payments, and project-related travel but not living stipends. Full-time enrolled undergraduates in good standing apply quarterly with deadlines on October 2, January 15, and April 9 for the 2026-27 academic year. Proposals may not exceed 1,500 words and must include a Research Budget Request Form. Students should apply at least one quarter before project activities begin.
