About this scholarship
The Vivian M. Day Endowed Nursing Scholarship was established in 1995 by Maurice and Vivian Day, longtime Sault Ste. Marie residents and LSSU supporters, to recognize nursing students who show leadership and dedication to the profession. Vivian Day was a registered nurse for many years. Successful candidates are sophomore nursing students at Lake Superior State University. Students apply through Scholarship Universe when departmental and foundation scholarships are open. Recipients must meet LSSU scholarship renewal criteria and submit a required thank-you letter to the donor.
