About this scholarship
VCUarts offers talent scholarships to first-year out-of-state students who are automatically considered when they submit the Common Application and transcripts by November 1. Awards are currently $18,000 per year and renewable for up to four years. Recipients are selected based on academic merit and artistic talent demonstrated through the admission application. These scholarships are separate from donor-funded VCUarts awards available to currently enrolled students through the Rams Scholarship Hub each fall and spring cycle.
