About this scholarship
The Valley Housing Scholarship provides fifteen hundred dollars per year for up to two years to help cover on-campus housing costs at SVSU. Recipients must hold an academic scholarship—President's, Founder's, Dean's, Cardinal, or University—and live on campus. The award is a last-dollar housing supplement applied after any other housing-specific aid. Students with a 3.0 or higher high school GPA who live on campus may receive it alongside their academic award. Renewal requires maintaining academic scholarship eligibility, a 2.5 cumulative GPA, and on-campus residency.
