About this scholarship
The Valedictorian Scholarship is DMACC's most prestigious academic award for high school valedictorians who enroll at Des Moines Area Community College. Recipients must be admitted to the DMACC Honors Program, pursue a credit program of study, and enroll full-time while maintaining at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA. The scholarship covers one hundred percent of tuition and fees for eligible coursework during fall and spring terms for up to four semesters, plus a five-hundred-dollar annual stipend for books and supplies for up to two academic years, with a total value of nearly ten thousand dollars over two years.
