About this scholarship
The Utah Direct Scholarship supports Utah resident first-year, first-time students who earned a Utah Direct admission guarantee through participating high school districts and had at least a 3.5 unweighted GPA at the end of junior year. Eligible applicants must complete their University of Utah admission application by December 1 and enroll for the Fall 2026 semester. Recipients receive $3,000 per academic year toward tuition and mandatory fees while enrolled full-time on the main campus. The award renews for up to eight semesters with a 3.50 cumulative GPA and at least 24 credit hours completed each academic year.
