About this scholarship
The University Scholar award at Northwest Missouri State University provides one thousand five hundred dollars per fall and spring semester to first-time freshmen meeting the University Scholar tier on the admission merit chart. This automatic scholarship is granted when students apply for admission by May 1 and cannot be combined with higher merit tiers or the President's Scholarship. University Scholar helps middle- and upper-middle academic profiles afford Northwest's competitively priced tuition. Renewal requires a 2.75 Northwest cumulative GPA and completion of twenty-four credit hours per academic year for up to four consecutive years with full-time fall, spring, and summer enrollment as applicable.
