About this scholarship
Unity Scholars is Gonzaga University's premier scholarship for Washington state residents with financial need who demonstrate leadership and commitment to social justice, diversity, intercultural competence, global engagement, solidarity with the poor, and care for the planet. Selected scholars receive grant and scholarship aid for four years covering tuition, academic fees, housing, and meal plan charges, plus BRIDGE pre-orientation, mentorship, a leadership cohort, an Intergroup Dialogue course, and career support. Applicants must apply for Gonzaga admission, submit a separate Unity Scholars application by January 10, and file FAFSA or WASFA; priority goes to families below seventy percent of Washington's median income. Finalists interview virtually in late February and recipients are notified by early March. Undocumented Washington residents may apply using WASFA.
