United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 1518, Scholarship

Members, or sons, daughters, or legal wards of members in good standing of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 1518, who begin or continue full-time studies at UBC, the University of Victoria, Simon Fraser University, BCIT, or a college in British Columbia are eligible. A letter confirming the student's or parent's union membership is required.

Six affiliation scholarships of $1,000 each are administered through UBC (award #547). Three awards go to students entering from Grade 12 and three to continuing students, normally to applicants with the highest standing in final examinations.
