About this scholarship
The U Promise Scholarship is the University of Minnesota's guaranteed scholarship commitment to Minnesota undergraduate students whose families have adjusted gross income up to one hundred twenty thousand dollars per year. New freshmen and transfer Minnesota residents enrolling full time at any U of M campus are automatically considered after submitting the FAFSA. Freshman awards range from three hundred to four thousand dollars each year for four consecutive years, varying by campus and financial need. No separate U Promise application is required beyond admission and the FAFSA.
