Canadian citizens and permanent residents enrolled full time in a master's or doctoral program at a Canadian university may apply for graduate research support in clean energy. Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree in engineering or science, and the proposed project must run at least one full year.
The grant is valued at $15,000 and one is awarded annually. Up to two additional $15,000 grants may be awarded in a given year on the recommendation of the Foundation's Grant Advisory Committee.
The Tyler Lewis Clean Energy Research Foundation was established in memory of Tyler G. P. Lewis to fund alternative energy and applied sustainability research and to help train qualified researchers.
