About this scholarship
Tuition Advantage Plus at Northern Michigan University is a one-time one-thousand-dollar award added automatically for first-year students who qualify for the NMU Tuition Advantage last-dollar tuition scholarship. To qualify for Tuition Advantage, Michigan residents must receive both a Federal Pell Grant and the Michigan Achievement Scholarship, after which NMU covers remaining tuition after federal, state, and institutional aid. Tuition Advantage Plus helps cover additional fees during the first year. Global Campus students are not eligible. Students must complete the FAFSA and meet all Tuition Advantage eligibility requirements for the combined award.
