About this scholarship
The Transfer-In Scholarship at UTRGV is a two-year renewable award valued up to $16,000 total, including a housing scholarship component, for transfer students from community colleges outside the Rio Grande Valley working toward a first undergraduate degree. Students must be admitted by UTRGV fall or spring priority deadlines and submit the online scholarship application at utrgv.edu/applyscholarships by July 1. Renewal for four long semesters requires twelve credit hours each fall and spring, a 3.0 cumulative institutional GPA, and continuous enrollment at UTRGV. Award amounts may be adjusted based on other gift aid received.
