About this scholarship
Transfer merit scholarship for in-state students entering Winthrop University with a cumulative college GPA of at least 3.25. Applicants must be new transfers with at least twelve semester hours from prior colleges and a completed admission application by June 1, 2026 for priority consideration. Each transfer student receives one of the published transfer merit tiers. The Blue Line award provides two thousand dollars per year and renews for up to two additional years while maintaining full-time enrollment and financial aid satisfactory academic progress.
