For students beginning or continuing studies at UBC Vancouver who attended high school in Prince Rupert, B.C.
Through a bequest from Thomas Holmes Johnson: (1) one $3,150 bursary for a son or daughter of a member in good standing of Tyee Lodge No. 66, AFAM, with letters from the Lodge and the high school principal (if no candidate qualifies, the second category increases to three awards); (2) two $3,150 bursaries for Prince Rupert high school attendees, with letters from the principal and three Prince Rupert residents who hold Canadian university degrees. Preference is given to students whose parents have resided in Prince Rupert for five or more years. Apply through UBC affiliation bursaries.
