About this scholarship
The Department of Theatre and Dance awards multiple four-year full scholarships and tuition scholarships to incoming first-year University of Richmond students who intend to declare a theatre or dance major after their first year and demonstrate outstanding promise through an admission arts portfolio. Applicants include theatre or dance portfolio materials with the first-year admission application and are reviewed automatically by the departmental scholarship committee. Recipients must participate in all mainstage productions each semester, make steady progress toward the major, attend departmental scholarship meetings, and—for dance awards—participate in University Dancers.
