About this scholarship
The Wheaton Pride Scholarship provides $2,500 to two students each year who positively impact the LGBTQ+ community through leadership or service. President Michaele Whelan funded the initial endowment to advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging at Wheaton College Massachusetts. Newly admitted and current students with demonstrated financial need may apply; recipients do not need to identify as LGBTQ+. Applicants show proven LGBTQ+ advocacy and commitment to inclusion. Students are not required to disclose sexual orientation or gender identity, and application information remains confidential. Admitted student applications are due April 15, 2026; current student applications are due July 1, 2026.
