The Honourable Peter deCarteret Cory Award

Open to a student enrolled in the JD program at Osgoode Hall Law School (York University, Toronto) who demonstrates financial need, outstanding academic achievement, and involvement in Osgoode's extracurricular activities or community service. Preference goes to a student from the Windsor area.

The award is offered each year. The amount varies.

Law clerks and friends of the Honourable Peter deCarteret Cory established the award. Cory graduated from Osgoode in 1950, served as a decorated RCAF officer, and was appointed to the Supreme Court of Canada in 1989.
